Last week, Kyiv hosted the first Ukrainian Beach Volleyball Club Championship, where four professional teams competed fiercely over four action-packed game days. The stakes were high, with the ultimate prize being the honors to represent Ukraine at the upcoming European Championships. It goes without saying that regular Winners players could not miss such an opportunity, and players Maksym Horobets, Danylo Svyrydenko, Mykyta Anhelov, and Danyil Zakharchenko formed a Winners Sports Hub team.
While the WSH team didn’t clinch the top spot this time, they gave it their all, finishing with a record of 1 win and 2 losses in the main bracket — securing an impressive third place! Considering the fierce competition, this is a fantastic achievement.
